Unity Maritime brings three more ships under the control of Unity Ship Management

Unity Maritime has moved three more of its ships under the technical management of Unity Ship Management (USM).

Two Ultramax bulk carriers, Unity Endeavour and Unity Explorer, and a Handy bulk carrier, Unity Odyssey, will have all of their technical needs met by USM. The vessels are all part of Unity Maritime’s top tier dry cargo shipping fleet.

The move is a continuation of Unity Group’s strategy to grow and manage its 18-strong fleet to the highest industry standards. USM services are carried out by a dedicated technical department, while a wider team is responsible for safety, quality, and environmental protection.

All three vessels continue to operate under the UK tonnage tax regime and sail under the flag of the Bahamas.

Unity Maritime and Unity Ship Management are part of Unity Group, a London-based global investment business which specialises in property and shipping, through Unity Real Estate and Unity Maritime respectively.
