Unity Ship Management undertakes the technical and operational management of the Unity Maritime fleet. By delivering technical management services in-house, we ensure all work on our ships is controlled by highly experienced professionals who share our passion for ensuring the fleet’s reputation and long-term success.

Our technical ship management services are overseen by seasoned marine experts, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective vessel operations. This includes a team of sea masters, engineers, and specialists in purchasing, IT, safety, quality, environmental protection, insurance, finance, and administration.

We handle maintenance, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with Flag State, ISM Code, ISPS Code, insurance, and more—ensuring smooth, regulatory-compliant operations. Innovative software solutions and proprietary systems enable us to manage every aspect of technical operations with precision and care.

Unity Ship Crewing (USC) provides comprehensive crew handling and full support for all crewing needs across our fleet, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted fleet operations. We take pride in maintaining a world-class crewing pool for our vessels, alongside partnering with like-minded third parties who share our commitment to excellence.

Our primary objective is to be the leading crewing agency for European officers, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and digitalization to enhance training and operational efficiency both at sea and onshore. By embracing modern crew management systems and continuous development programs, we aim to optimize crew welfare, safety, and performance, thereby sustaining our leadership in the maritime industry.

The Unity fleet consists of dry bulk ships that were built by the best shipbuilding groups of South Korea and Japan

Most of our ships are in the geared category, and that enables us to carry a large variety of cargos and to load and discharge in a large proportion of global ports. Our fleet is modern and we are very proud in our quality tonnage, specification and makers lists and we will always focus on top quality tonnage.

LARGE HANDYSIZE

LARGE HANDYSIZE

Bulk carriers with deadweight of 35,000 dwt – 40,000 dwt. This relatively small size allows handysize vessels to enter smaller ports to load / discharge and thanks to on board gears, to pick up or discharge cargoes at ports which lack cranes or cargo handling system. All of Unity large handysize were built in Oshima Shipyard, Japan and are with rich specification that enables operation efficiency and variety of cargoes.

SUPRAMAX

SUPRAMAX

Bulk carriers with deadweight of 50,000 dwt – 60,000 dwt. Equipped with cranes and grabs, this medium size ships are very popular in the dry bulk industry, thanks to their flexibility and diversity. Since respective delivery, all of Unity supramax ships were commercially operated by the same charterers who have been satisfied by the good performance and reliance of our tonnage.

ULTRAMAX

ULTRAMAX

Bulk carriers with deadweight of 60,000 dwt - 66,000 dwt, that are the biggest within the geared subcategory. Their geared specification, together with their optimized dimensions, makes them the most popular size in the dry bulk fleet and the most reliable performer since that design has entered the dry bulk market Unity ultramax ships are very popular by top tier trading houses and shipping companies, thanks to their superior specification and makers lists and well our relentless efforts to maintain top conditions on board.

KAMSARMAX

KAMSARMAX

Bulk Carriers with a carry capacity of 80,000 dwt – 90,000 dwt. This design has optimized the deadweight that can be carried in / out of ports of up to 229 length overall restriction. With the capacity to carry large quantities of cargoes, be fuel efficient and still flexible to navigate major ports around the world, makes this design very popular in the dry bulk industry Unity Kamsarmax ships, are larger than the standard Kamsarmax size, but with a shallow draft, that maximizes Panama Canal passage and therefore very popular from grain trade east west,
